Light On Life

(Click on the underlined links in italics for further information.

I was functionally illiterate on leaving school in the mid-80s. Between 2000 and 2020 I was increasingly involved with poetry, and my writing greatly improved, but not my reading. However, having weak reading can imply you discover things the cliched hard way instead, i.e., via a path of wisdom rather than knowledge. It means you might rediscover truths, and strengthen our broad collective faith, or add further acceptance to commonsense. Primarily, I suggest we shun group mentalities and become individuals. Please see my "I am" book and my essay "No - a shortcut to assertiveness". The latter might help you with the goal of "I am", and there is vastly more here. My opus is over 200,000 freely available words.

Latest prose: I published "Three Promises" on 29/01/24, covering Ego (psychic) death. See the Bookshop.

The video below is of me, Michael, reading "Mr Fish's fine kettle", which is the first poem I'd written in over four years, and having taken many hours of March '24. It's a take me or leave me example of me... frankly! I'm not pontificating. It's a kind of Alpha to Omega in essence; the start and finish.

So, here we have it, and I warmly invite you to explore my corner of the WWW.
